Privacy statement

As the operator of this website, I take your privacy very seriously and I observe data protection legislation. In the following section, I explain in detail what information is collected when you visit my website and how I or other companies subsequently process or use that information.

Privacy

You can use my website without providing any personal information. However, please note that all data transmission on the internet (such as email communication) is subject to security gaps. There is no way to ensure that data is completely protected from third-party access.

Privacy statement for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses features of the Google Analytics web analytics service. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies. These are text files that are saved to your computer to enable analysis of your use of a website. The information that the cookie generates about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored.

If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, Google will first shorten your IP address within European Union Member States or other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the US and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services relating to website and internet usage for website operators. Google will not associate the IP address transmitted by your browser for the purpose of Google Analytics with any other data held by Google.

You can set your browser to not save cookies. However, please note that doing so may prevent you from using some of the functions of this website. In addition, you can stop the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being sent to Google and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Embedded third-party services and content

There is a possibility that I will embed third-party content on my website, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps material, RSS feeds or images from other websites. Providers of such embedded content (“third-party providers”) can always discern your IP address. After all, without your IP address, they would not be able to send any content to your browser. This means that your IP address is required for you to view that content. I make an effort to only use content from providers that only use your IP address for the purpose of delivering content. However, I have no influence over whether third-party providers decide to save your IP address for statistical purposes. If I become of aware of such activity, I will inform you.
